Personality: Spent early childhood in captivity confined in a cage.  Freed at age seven by a band of Githzeri called the Ebon Fist.  They turned her over to Sakura monastery where she was raised in the monastic tradition.  Due to bad nutrition and conditions, Shanti (as she was named) has not grown as tall as most Githzerai and she is strong for her frame.  She is hard to get to know but once she feels comfortable, she becomes much more friendly and chatty.

Appearance: Eyes:  Pale Green - Grey

Scars:  Burn mark on her right upper arm - rather self conscious about it.  Scars on her lower back and back of her legs from being whipped.  Mostly healed.
Piercings:  Ears up and down the spine of both ears.

DM Notes: Shanti joined the Guardians of Shining Hope at a moment when the party's mettle was being seriously tested.  Their warrior Sokoro had just been slain in the underdark as the party quested to find information on drow movements for Thomas the Red of Caer Dwyn (one of the nine master wizards of the land).

Over the past few weeks and months, she has adapted well to this new world, fighting with her new companions and facing some terrible creatures and powers; the most heinous to date being Captain Ranaldo, a vampire within Olisford that the party was sent to be rid of in exchange from a druid circle helping them find the location of a hag that knows the location of a certain traveling palace which contains one of the pieces of the Rod of Seven Parts.
